Overview

YouTube Queue is a Chrome extension that gives YouTube a persistent video queue shared across tabs. Add videos from thumbnails, right-click menus, or a keyboard shortcut, then let one designated player tab advance through the queue automatically. Playback uses YouTube’s native player, preserving the normal watch history and Premium experience.

Highlights

  • Manage the queue in a browser side panel or directly on YouTube watch pages
  • Drag to reorder videos, filter entries, shuffle, repeat, and move items to play next
  • Skip unplayable videos automatically and release player control when you navigate away manually
  • Skip chapters using optional title-matching rules, with optional channel restrictions
  • Choose built-in side panel themes or customize colors and CSS
  • Explore optional local watch analytics with channel trends, searchable history, custom value tags, and JSON or CSV exports

Built with Manifest V3 and plain JavaScript modules, the extension requires Chrome 116 or newer and has no build step. Queue data and preferences stay in local extension storage. Watch analytics is off by default and stores history separately in a local IndexedDB database.
