Installation

Requirements

• Google Chrome 116 or newer.

The extension currently uses Chrome’s Manifest V3 sidePanel API.

Install from the Chrome Web Store

Install YouTube Queue from the Chrome Web Store. The store link is a placeholder and will be replaced when the listing is published.

After installation, pin the extension if needed and click its toolbar icon to open the queue side panel.

First run

1. Open a YouTube watch page.
2. Add a video with the thumbnail button, context menu, or Alt+Shift+Q.
3. Open the side panel and click Play next, or click ▶ on a queue entry.
4. Keep DevTools open while checking the player tab and the extension service worker console.
